Lila is the cutest little one year old I ever did see! She has learned a lot this past month and continues to pick up on new things every single day. It is such a joy watching her learn and grow. Her personality is sweeter than sugar itself and she's funny too, which if you ask me makes her pretty perfect! She is walking along furniture and can take 3-5 steps by herself. She always wants what mom or dad is eating, but especially loves pizza, cuties, and frozen yogurt bites. She LOVES popcorn just like her daddy, and likes to have small pieces of his pretzels and chips.
She is still nursing, though not as often. She really likes her bottle and enjoys getting her back rubbed ha! She still isn't the best sleeper. I can't stand to let her cry it out completely, but it's okay because overall I am mostly okay with getting up with her in the night.
She can do lots of tricks these days! Like raise her hands above her head to show how big she is, or point to her belly button, nose, head, ears, eyes, toes, and tongue. She can also hold up her finger if you ask her how old she is! She's a smarty pants!!
She takes 1-2 naps a day, loves to clap after accomplishing something, has the cutest giggle when we tickle her, has 11 teeth, can say mama, dada, baba, and num num (for food), and can sign "more" and "all done." She loves animals and especially likes dogs, cats, sloths, and farm animals such as cows and chickens. We are working on her animal sounds. So far she knows that a chicken says "bok bok bok" and she can almost "mooo."
She loves going outside, likes to cuddle and watch Sesame Street music videos on YouTube, likes to sing along with mom, and babbles crazy words and sounds all day long every single day! She is the best little person ever and I can't believe she is 1! She truly lights up the room and can make anyone smile.
