Drew's birthday landed on a Tuesday this year. It was a simple day but full of love and happiness for sure.
Lila and I went out to lunch with Drew to Riggatti's-- a wood fired pizza place here in St. George. It was so yummy! We will definitely be going there again. We loved it!
After lunch, we met up with Linda and Katie at Costco for a little bit. Then headed home to rest before heading to the movie. Drew's only request was to see the new Star Wars movie, Rogue 1 so that is exactly what we did! Linda and Katie came down to tend Lila so we could go.
We brought our megaplex soda mug and a free big popcorn coupon. We loaded up with the popcorn, sprite, and a box of cold junior mints! It is one of our favorite dates to share! We haven't gone to a movie together for a long time so it was fun to get out and do it again. The movie was good and I teared up multiple times because hi, I'm a mom now and I get teary over everything haha.
After the movie got out, we went back home and thanked Katie and Linda. We ate the rest of our pizza and went to bed.
Like I said, it was a simple day, but a very good one.
