The Piano Guys!

For Christmas Linda (Drew's mom) bought the whole family tickets to see The Piano Guys in concert in February. I LOVE The Piano Guys so I was stoked to see them in concert!!! I've been to John Schmidt's concerts before when I was younger and really enjoyed them. I have always loved his music and any other type of nontraditional classical music because (duh!) I love all music and I love the piano! Well anyways, The Piano Guys just recently performed at the inauguration of the new President of the United States, Donald Trump. That's amazing!! These guys are getting big! I still remember the first time I saw John Schmidt (who wasn't very famous at the time) play the piano upside down at Kingsbury Hall in SLC... He inspired me! I learned how to do that myself and for my next piano recital I played part of my song upside down just like he did! I remember feeling so proud! (Plus I think my Grandpa Doug paid me to do it too, hah!) I believe I was probably 9 or 10 years old at the time.

 

So yes, I was excited for this concert! Well before we knew it the time had come to attend the concert so we made a trip to Cedar for the evening. We ate dinner with the Hansen's and then made our way to the concert. Kambry was sweet to come over to the Hansen's and tend Lila while we were gone. The concert was in the SUU centrum and it was almost packed full! It turned out to be an amazing performance full of great vibes, upbeat and beautiful music, funny and cheesy jokes, and heart tugging moments of love and sympathy. I LOVED IT.
