I went down to spend a couple days with Drew. While I was down there we took a trip to St. George and went to the temple. I found a new favorite treat while we were down there at the Orange Peel. A honeydew bubble tea with boba! Talk about a heavenly day! First the temple with the love of my life, and now this delicious drink. This day couldn't have gotten any better.
But it did.
We stopped at Judds and fell in love with the cute little old fashioned candy shop. It's located right off of Main Street in St. George and it has soup, bread sticks, candy of all sorts, and an entire wall full of old fashioned sodas and drinks!
Later that afternoon we went shopping for a bit and then eventually made our way over to Sand Hollow to visit some of my extended family who were camping for the Easter weekend.
The Jones family!
They were camped along the beach on the soft sand only a few feet away from the chilly water. Drew and I were able to watch the sun set as we sat and visited with all of my relatives. We roasted some hot dogs and laughed until our tummies hurt.
Hopefully we'll be able to actually camp with them next Easter with the rest of my family!
The next day we were back in Cedar. That afternoon we grabbed some food and had a picnic at a park near the canyon. I left for home that evening and now we're 111 miles away again just waiting for the next time we will see each other... which will be next weekend for General Conference!
Until then,
Happy E A S T E R!
Love,
Kate
